THOMAS D. MILL - RETIRED - "MBAC-BSA - BUILDING FUTURE LEADERS 2007 AWARD RECIPIENT"

Tom graduated from U.C. Berkeley in Civil Engineering in 1957 and has been a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers since 1970. Tom worked for Cen-Cal Company in San Leandro as an Engineer-Estimator-Sales Manager doing commercial and industrial work with a 1966 volume of about $7,000,000.00. Tom joined his father in 1966, became President, and started specializing in commercial and industrial construction work. Tom has since retired and supports Mill Construction as a consultant.

ERNEST D. MILL - "SALINAS VALLEY BUILDERS EXCHANGE - 2006 CONSTRUCTION MAN OF THE YEAR"

President - CEO : Ernie graduated from Cal-Poly, San Luis Obispo, in Construction Engineering in 1983. He then spent two years working for Pacific Construction in Honolulu, Hawaii as an Estimator and Project Manager. He managed projects ranging from minor structural repairs of a multi-unit Navy housing track to major structural repairs of failures in a high-rise condominium complex. Since Ernie’s return to Mill Construction in 1985, he has worked his way through the estimating and management of individual projects to the management of the corporation in 1995. With the strong leadership and vision of the corporate officers, Mill Construction has experienced controlled steady growth every year since then. Ernie keeps in touch with the community by being a past President of the Rodeo Rotary Club, a past Chairman of the Board to the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce, and past President of the Monterey Bay Area Council of BSA. Ernie, with his strong belief of providing a quality product, a high level of service, along with always being honest, has maintained clients that his father and grandfather has had since 1949.

WILLIAM TAYLOR, SR.

Senior Vice President : Bill is in charge of Field Operations. Bill has grown with the company, starting at the first level of apprentice carpenter and working his way up the company to his present position. With Bills experience and years of knowledge in the field, he is a great asset to our Management Team. Bill has been with our company since 1962.

DOTTIE A. DUNLAP

Secretary, Treasurer & Vice President : Dottie is in charge of Accounting. Dottie has over 35 years of accounting experience and is in charge of all project cost reports, general ledger, financial statements and all other aspects of accounting. Dottie has been with our company since 1974.

 

DIANE M. AUSONIO

Project Manager / Estimator : Diane graduated from Arizona State University in 1985 with a B.S. Degree in Construction Engineering and Management. Diane was with Pacific Construction from 1985 to 1994 and joined the management team of Mill Construction Company in 1999. Diane has managed many notable projects such as the Palma High School Chapel, Wildwood Natural Foods Processing Facility, and Convergys Telecommunication Center.

LINDA MCFEELY

Project Manager/Estimator: Linda ended a career in banking to go into construction in 1990. She started her career in Kitchen & Bath Remodeling. Linda moved to the Monterey area in 1995 to work on the Final Phase of the Townhomes in Spanish Bay. She has worked on several other golf course projects in the Monterey area including Pasadera and Monterra, concentrating on high-end custom residential homes. Her experience on large homes gave her a strong background for commercial remodel work. Linda went on to work at CHOMP on the Kitchen and Cafeteria expansion. She joined our team in March 2006 and is working on several OSHPD projects for Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare Systems.

JAMES MOORE

Vice President/Contracts & Senior Estimator: James has 23 years experience in estimating and project management. He brings to Mill Construction a broad range of experience, he has personally estimated and managed various forms of projects such as Public and Private Schools, Commercial Retail Developments, Multi-Family Housing, General Engineering structures, Sub-division improvements, Public Works, Food Processing and Cooling facilities, private custom residents and Health Care projects (OSHPD). James is a native of Monterey County along with his family.

TIM BABBITT

Project Manager/Estimator: Tim comes to us with 10 years of commercial and residential experience. He has worked on malls, retirement homes and government projects. With a strong focus on detail he fits right in at Mill Construction. For the last 10 years he has been an Estimator/Project Manager for Precision Exteriors of Minnesota. Recently relocating to Arizona, Tim has just joined our team in Yuma as a Project Manager/Estimator.

STEPHEN DOOLITTLE

Project Manager/Estimator: Stephen has 30 years of experience in the specialty construction industry. He was Vice President of Cinnabar in Florida, a theming company where he managed 140 various jobs for Disney World ranging from small props to parade floats to 3D billboards and complete live stage shows. He also spent 17 years in Los Angeles managing theme park projects for Disneyland and Universal Studios and numerous museum projects around the world before returning to Salinas, the land of his youth and joing Mill Construction Company.
